Oral health effects

  • Reduced bone density (indirect) / dry mouth

    Aromatase inhibitors lower estrogen and bone density; patients are often co-treated with antiresorptives (an MRONJ consideration).

    Clinical management: Note concurrent antiresorptive therapy for MRONJ risk; manage dry mouth.
