Oral health effects

  • Candidiasis / healing effects; therapeutic anti-swelling use

    Shares steroid risks (candidiasis, immunosuppression); also used therapeutically to reduce post-operative swelling and as an mTOR-mucositis prophylactic rinse.

    Clinical management: Monitor for candidiasis; note dual therapeutic role in oral surgery.
