Oral health effects

  • Severe mucocutaneous reactions (SJS) / sedation

    Can cause SJS/TEN with oral ulceration; strong enzyme inducer affecting other drugs.

    Clinical management: Treat suspected SJS/TEN as an emergency; account for drug-metabolism interactions.
